Caveat Scriptor

Let the writer beware.

I guess this is as good of a time as any to start blogging. The activity itself has seemed to have caught on... and the tools are robust enough that I don't think I'll have to invest too much time in raw coding. It's always nice to concentrate on the content, rather than dealing with the technology.

In an ideal world, I'd have a lot of useful insight to share in my first post here. But the world is far from ideal. We can see that every day on the news, read about it every day on the Web or in newspapers, or talk about it amongst ourselves. The interconnectivity of the world we live in is a marvel and a burden at the same time. But perhaps—just perhaps—we'll learn how to use the technology for the greater good, rather than personal gain.

Now that I'm off my soapbox... let's get this endeavor underway.
